Dak Thai Cuisine is a family-owned eatery and serves homestyle Thai food, made from fresh ingredients and traditional family recipes. We opened in Creswell in March of 2020 and it is our only location. In Thai, "Dak" means to devour or eat with great enthusiasm and gusto; it is a playful and naughty way to say eat.
About Our Ingredients
All of the SAUCES (stir-fry sauces, seasoning sauces, pad thai sauce, etc.) used in our dishes are made here, in-house, at Dak:
— Our "Homemade Spicy Smoked Chili Paste" is made from fresh chilies, herbs and other aromatics, and spices.
— Our Peanut Sauce is vegan/vegetarian-friendly, and made from scratch with freshly roasted peanuts.
— Our Sweet and Sour Chili Sauce is also vegan/vegetarian-friendly.
— Our seasoning sauce contains fish sauce, oyster sauce, soy (wheat) sauce, and traditional Thai seasonings.
— Our vegan/vegetarian seasoning sauce contains soy (wheat) sauce and mushroom sauce. There are no animal products of any kind in our vegan/vegetarian seasoning sauce.
We only use fresh and organic tofu in our dishes. Our tofu is from Bui Natural Tofu of Portland, OR.
We use local and fresh meat, poultry, and vegetables.
We use both fresh and dried Thai chilis (also known as Bird's eye chili) to spice our dishes.
